What we store, and the switches for it.

This page is both the policy and the controls. It explains the cookies and similar technologies BrandColors.ai uses — we use both sparingly — and the switches at the bottom are live: what you set here is what the product obeys.
01 What cookies are
Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. Local storage is a related technology built into your browser. We use both only where the product needs them.
02 Essential cookies
These are required to run the app and keep you signed in.
- Supabase authentication (cookie names begin with
sb-): keeps you signed in to your account. - cs_bypass: during our pre-launch period, this grants preview access to the site.
03 Local storage
A related technology, not a cookie. We keep two things there:
- An anonymous usage ID that groups product-analytics events. It holds no personal profile, and analytics itself is off until you opt in below.
- Your interface preferences, such as in-progress generator work and saved drafts.
04 Third-party cookies
When you pay, Stripe's checkout pages set their own cookies to process the transaction securely. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
05 Your preferences
Saved on this device, applied immediately, changeable whenever you like. Analytics is opt-in: until you switch it on, nothing is collected.
Essential
Signing in, session security, and pre-launch preview access. The product doesn't work without these, so they can't be switched off.
Functional
Remembers your interface preferences and in-progress work in your browser, so drafts survive a page reload.
Analytics
Anonymous product-usage events that help us see which features earn their place. Off until you turn it on.
